If you ever are lucky enough to find or have passed along, a nice second-hand sheet, but are unsure of its size, what do you do? The simplest and easiest way to find out where it will fit is by measuring it.
Sheet sizes
Twin – 39″ x 76″
Twin XL – 39″ x 80″
Double – 54″ x 75″
Queen – 60″ x 80″
California Queen – 60″ x 84″
King – 78″ x 80″
California King – 72″ x 84″
An extra large twin and the California King or Queen can usually be found with a fitted bottom sheet. The top sheet is typically not changed from the normal size.
Not all mattresses have the same depth. You might have to make slight adjustments depending on whether you have an standard, deep, or extra deep mattress.
